SORRY FOR THE LATE BLOG!!!

We are so sorry that we are behind in sending out this blog entry!!!!   This past month has been insanely busy (for the first time since we arrived in Thailand) because language school has gotten very difficult, due to speaking AND writing and reading Thai, and we have spent time with directors (that fortunately happen to be good friends) from the Mission Society.  Also, our home, the Muang Thai Church of Bangkok, has been invaded by 45 children from the Northeastern part of Thailand on their summer break here to participate in an academic camp!   We have had an amazing time with our friends from the Mission Society and we even got the opportunity to attend some of the lectures at the ministry conference they were attending. Also, the chance to hang out with many of the teens we will be serving in Roi Et is priceless, but it has drained our time!

The Grand Blog Plan….

That being said, we are both very new to this idea of blogging, and neither Dora nor I are good journalers, so needless to say, we have been struggling with how to handle this blog and the sharing of information with all of you, our dearest friends.  The problem definitely hasn’t been a shortage of stuff to talk about, that is for sure!!!  I have been keeping a ‘journal for people who hate journaling,’ where I have been jotting down incredible God sightings, insights from scripture, and all the ridiculous culture faux pas we have made, in as few words as possible, but I would completely overload you if I wrote them once a month in one massive blog!  So, we am going to try to send out blog entries as often as one of us has a chance to share ideas with everyone, and we will just save the ‘good stuff’ for the monthly entry that we tag in an email to everyone. If you would like to read more, just check out the blog site every now and then!

I will limit this blog to two amazing opportunities we have had with Drs. Nantachai and Ubolwan in the past month.  One was just in getting to know them better while hearing more of the amazing stories of what God has been doing with the Thai people in recent years, and the second involves the opportunity we had to visit our future mission site in Roi Et!  Please check it out!
