Mission Haiti
Alex’s House is a Christian orphanage dedicated to rescuing Haitian children from a cruel life on the streets. On any day in Haiti you will see children as young as 6 years old standing at congested intersections, begging for money to buy food for the day. Many of these children lost their parents in the recent earthquake. Others are forced to the streets because of desperate poverty, their parents not being able to provide food, clothes and the basic necessities of life. If these children beat the odds and live past their 5th birthday, they will grow up without ever seeing a doctor, without ever having a pair of new shoes, without ever stepping into a school, and without ever feeling the safety and security of a loving home.
Impacting our community and our world is one of the greatest things we can do as a church family.
